Causing Submission Not Forcing It.

The illusion of freedom is being unmasked. Yet even so, many will be happy to throw themselves into the servitude of tyranny. F-Droid and other independent App stores will either have to submit or die. The consumers are akin to livestock, they're just cattle.

We still have choices, do we not? Either we are caused to submit to the empire of Google and or Apple, or we surrender or go into self exile and reject them whole. How many people will do that? Not many one presumes. Many will be caused to give up their freedom with no force being necessary. Perhaps, we need a new perspective on our lives and what is truly living. If this is modernity and progress, then I want no part in it.

Today people are trapped into thinking that they need these devices, which ironically, spy on us, make it easier for the authoritarians to locate us and have us under constant surveillance. Today whenever people travel, instead of taking paper and pen, they take their entire collection of data in one proverbial basket and are oftentimes given the choice of either surrendering their data and privacy, or being deported or refused entry into other countries. This isn't real living. There is no freedom in this.

There will be no saviors on the horizon. The corporations will always win until they are destroyed and or rejected. Linux smartphones or operating systems will not save or set us free. We are chattel and we must submit.
