Nothing here really, except that TikTok was just fine when it was just subverting the morals and culture of White Americans. However, once there was content which was anti Palestinian genocide and anti Israeli aggression, then there were moves to restrict the first amendment of one hundred, seventy, million Americans. It would seem that there is a minority of very important people, who are much more important that Americans and their alleged constitutional rights. A majority of the US Congress and the US Supreme Court, seem to think so as well. In the alleged free spaces of the US, one is free until one criticizes Israel and or the Jews. Perhaps, it's just one's antisemitism at play here.

It is generally accepted that under Donald Trump as president of the United States, the Chinese company ByteDance will have to sell its American assets, since the law adopted in April last year, requires control over the activities of the social network from the American authorities through one of the local companies. Meanwhile, some sources familiar with the negotiation process informed Bloomberg that ByDance is still considering to do without selling their American business. There are still no concrete revelations on just how this feat will be accomplished.

At least this was stated by a member of the ByteDance Board, Bill Ford, who simultaneously heads General Atlantic, which is a shareholder of the Chinese developer TikTok stated that in his opinion, the sale of TikTok assets in the United States is not inevitable. The parties are trying to find alternatives that would find an equitable solution. ByteDance is interested in continuing to work in the United States. Ford is evaluating alternative solutions that will allow for a more constructive beneficial solution if possible.
