And the US has run out of big “targets” to hit in Iran because the Iranian military has effectively squirreled away everything of worth, and it’s too dangerous for the US to fly deep into the country, particularly given new claims of US plane shoot downs.

As such, Trump would love to be able to plaster the news cycles with hulking headlines of fat infrastructural targets getting lit up by bombs that can be seen from satellite feeds. His ego believes that makes him and the US look triumphant, at least compared to the standard fare of cheap decoys and empty desert the US has been pounding for weeks now. The problem is, this will accomplish little other than immiserating local civilians and turning them against the Empire that had claimed it was coming to “liberate them” from the “oppressive regime”.

  • Now: “If Iran doesn’t open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours the US will obliterate their various POWER PLANTS.
Axios reported on Saturday that the Trump team is scrambling to try to resurrect direct negotiations:
President Trump said Friday that he was considering “winding down” the war, though U.S. officials said the expectation was there would still be two to three additional weeks of fighting. In the meantime, Trump’s advisers want to start laying groundwork for diplomacy.

Behind the scenes: Trump’s envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are involved in the discussions around potential diplomacy, sources say.

Any deal to end the war would need to include the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, address Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium, and also establish a long-term agreement on Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missiles and support for proxies in the region.

There has been no direct contact between the U.S. and Iran in recent days, though Egypt, Qatar and the U.K. have all passed messages between the two, a U.S. official and two additional sources with knowledge said. Egypt and Qatar have informed the U.S. and Israel that Iran is interested in negotiating, but with very tough terms.

 I thought that, that fat fuck said, that he already won the war and that he nor is country, needed the Straits of Hormuz. He lies so much he probably can't keep things in context. He must be very desperate. Why would he be? Let's ponder why he may be.

Being a narcissist, Trump may be seeing his legacy as an economic, finance guru must be terrified when he realizes that the Iranian assertiveness in controlling the Straits of Hormuz, will undoubtedly cause chaos in the global oil markets not to mention bring the specter of the price of oil actually approach, if not surpass, the prediction of the Iranian officials, reaching two hundred dollars per barrel.

Another reason for his panic, would be another US loss, in another war started by it, on his watch, especially. Many of Trump's supporters, prior to him being selective about which of his promises he would keep, thought that he had a shot of being one of America's great president. This is no longer the case and now he may be in a panic because he has no idea, how he will change that particular dynamic, to try and resurrect that illusion.

Obviously, this is all speculation on my part, since it is difficult to understand how the mentally ill actually thinks and what really motivates them, but it is evident, that despite his tough talking, Trump is worried that the longer the Iranians fight back, defend and assert their sovereignty, his image, his reputation, his vanity along with his political capital, will soon be taking massive hits.

Europe will not survive without Russian oil with a global fuel shortage fast approaching – a reality that will become obvious to everyone within a couple of weeks, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday.
 “The reality is that a global oil shortage is now knocking at the door. The strategy Europeans are pursuing is simply crazy. We need Russian oil—we cannot survive this increasingly serious situation without Russian fuel and energy. Anyone who denies that will see how obvious it is in no more than a week,” Orbán told reporters after the EU summit. Not only does Hungary need oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline restored, but also guarantees from Kiev that such a blockade will not occur again, Orban emphasized.

“It is not just about oil coming to us, we also need to get guarantees [from Ukraine] that this will not happen again,” Orban told reporters after the EU summit in Brussels.

On January 27, Ukraine halted the flow of oil to Hungary and Slovakia. In response, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on February 23 that Hungary had blocked the 20th package of EU sanctions against Russia and a 90 billion euro loan to Kiev because of the Druzhba shutdown. On March 5, Orban said that Hungary would not compromise with Ukraine over the Druzhba blockade and would make the Ukrainians resume pumping oil “by force.”

Overextending And Unbalancing Russia.
The U.S. and the European Union are engaging in a deliberate “division of labor” to confront two major adversaries, namely Russia and China.

Under this strategy, Europe takes the lead in countering Russia, particularly in Ukraine, while the U.S. conserves its energy and resources for a looming confrontation with China.

 The US continues the political, kabuki theater, of mediating and diplomacy, only to end up setting up those foolish enough to trust them, for attacks and murder. The United States have no use for peaceful coexistence or diplomacy.

The only motivations the US pursues, are primacy, hegemony and domination. It does not matter who is elected president or whomever occupies the US Capitol. Their corporate and special interest donors are the only people who matter to US politicians and or bureaucrats.

The United States has always been a lawless rogue state, however, it is only lately, that it has started to remove the mask of respectability and decency. It is obviously, desperate. The corporate masters of US politicians, with their think thanks and policy papers, have already laid out the blueprints that they perceive, will lead the US to primacy, profits and preeminence.

The US empire state, has it's focus on defeating China, Russia and Iran. There are many theories that the Jews in Israel, the diaspora and their lobbies in the government, are the real powers in the United States. This isn't exactly true.

While I am no fan of Jews or Israel, in the case of Israel presumably pulling the strings of the US and her politicians, the real king pins running the US are the multinational corporations whose policies are promoted, by the bought and paid for politicians. Israel is just another proxy, in the long line of US vassal states.

Israel, to the US, is just another aircraft carrier, that cannot be sunk. Without the US support, Israel is nothing. If and when the US decides to use a nuclear weapon on Iran or any other Middle Eastern nation, the US will have Israel do it for plausible deniability and to give herself cover to put the sheep clothing on.

We're supposed to believe that Israel is the entity escalating events here and that Trump and his deep state neocons are blissfully ignorant, if not innocent.
